Collection: Cat Carriers

Cat carriers that make vet trips calmer: top-opening and front-opening hard carriers, soft-sided and backpack carriers, large carriers for big cats and two-cat carriers. Pawbrio delivers free across the UK.

Choosing a cat carrier

A carrier should be about one and a half times the length of your cat so they can turn round. Top-opening carriers are far easier for loading a reluctant cat and let the vet examine them inside. Hard carriers are more secure and easier to clean; soft carriers are lighter and fit under airline seats.

Leave the carrier out at home with a blanket inside so it stops being a sign of the vet. Non-slip bases and seat-belt loops make car journeys safer.

Cat Carriers FAQs

What size cat carrier do I need?

Roughly 1.5× your cat's body length. For an average cat that is around 45–50cm long.

Top or front opening?

Top-opening makes it much easier to lift a nervous cat in and out. Many carriers have both.

Can two cats share a carrier?

Only if they are bonded and the carrier is sized for two. We list large two-cat carriers.
