Collection: Dog Collars

Dog collars that look good and hold up to daily walks. Pawbrio stocks padded, leather, biothane and tweed collars, martingale collars for slim-headed breeds and light-up LED collars for dark evenings, with free UK delivery.

Choosing a dog collar

Measure around the neck where the collar sits and add about 5cm, then check the size range on the product. A collar is fitted correctly when two fingers slide under it. Puppies need adjusting every few weeks as they grow.

Flat buckle or clip collars suit most dogs. Martingale collars tighten slightly under tension so sighthounds and dogs with narrow heads cannot back out. Biothane is waterproof and wipe-clean for swimmers and muddy walkers. LED collars make a dog visible at dusk. We do not sell shock or electric collars, which are banned in England and Wales.

Dog Collars FAQs

How tight should a dog collar be?

Two fingers should fit flat between the collar and the neck. Any looser and it can slip over the head; any tighter and it can rub.

What is a martingale collar?

A limited-slip collar with a loop that tightens gently when the dog pulls, so it cannot be backed out of. It is popular for greyhounds, whippets and lurchers.

Do you sell shock collars?

No. Electric shock collars are banned in England and Wales and we do not stock them.

Can I get a matching lead?

Many collars have a matching lead listed on the product page or in the Dog Leads collection.
