Collection: Dog Crates & Cages

Dog crates and cages that are safe, secure and easy to live with, from fold-flat metal crates and soft travel crates to furniture-style crates that double as a side table. Pawbrio lists sizes for small, medium, large, XL and XXL dogs with free UK delivery.

Choosing a dog crate

A crate should let your dog stand up, turn round and lie flat. Measure their height at the head when standing and their length nose to tail base, then add roughly 10cm to each. Puppies grow fast, so pick the adult size and use a divider while they are small.

Metal crates with two doors and a removable tray are the most versatile for home use. Soft fabric crates are lighter for travel and cars. Furniture-style wooden crates look better in a living room and work for dogs that are already crate-trained. Add a crate cover and a crate bed or mat to make it a den.

Dog Crates & Cages FAQs

What size crate for my dog?

Measure standing height and nose-to-tail-base length and add about 10cm to each. Each listing shows internal dimensions and a suggested weight range.

Is a crate cruel?

Used properly a crate is a safe den, not a punishment. Introduce it gradually with the door open, feed meals inside and never leave a dog crated for long periods.

Do crates come with a bed?

Most crates are sold without bedding. Crate beds, mats and covers are listed separately so you can match your size.

How is a large crate delivered?

Orders are processed within 1–3 working days and delivered in 3–6 working days after dispatch, so most arrive within 4–9 working days. Delivery is free and tracked. Large crates arrive flat-packed and assemble without tools.
