Choosing an outdoor cat house or enclosure
For a cat that spends time outside, an insulated, waterproof house with a raised floor and a small entrance keeps out wind, rain and other animals. Add a self-heating pad in winter. For stray or feral cats a simple weatherproof shelter with two exits is kindest.
